The perfect neutral palette?

The Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette is brilliant. When concerning neutral palettes, this is hands down my favourite, yes i know... bold statement there Kate.

These shadows are soooooo smooth, they feel so luxurious and to the highest quality. They stay the lids for ever with a nice primer underneath and I have been reaching for this palette so much because of the amazing colour range with selections of mattes and shimmers.

MY LOVES:

The two HUGE white shades (White chocolate and Champagne toast) in the palette is a very clever idea, who finds themselves getting to the bottom of the white/cream shades first? *puts hand up*. Champagne toast can also be used for a gorgeous cheek bone highlight, talk about multi tasking!

Mazipan and Creme Brulee are the two shades in this palette that i think make it so amazing. I just have no words for these shades, b e a u t i f u l to place over the lid.

The selection of matte brown shades is INCREDIBLE! There is so many to build up the perfect smoky eye with a spot on gradient.

Variety of shades. Yes this is a neutral palette but i just love the way too faced have thrown in a pop of colour with the shade Candied violet, it makes it more interesting and able to perform a variety of looks.

MY PET PEEVES:

I wouldn't say this palette is travel friendly due to it being a little too bulky and opening to easily (maybe the magnetic closure is a little faulty as it tends to swing open sometimes.)

It doesn't come with a brush or eye primer?????? C'mon too faced, this palette is nearly £10 over the Naked palette's which do include a primer and brush. Ahem... steep...

ONLY ONE SHADE is a little gritty due to the shimmer (Black Forest Truffle) but i don't really see myself using this any time soon as it isn't normally a shade i would go for so it's definitely my least favourite in the palette.

Below is an eye look i created using the palette, i absolutely love this look!
Shades used:
Crème brulee on the inner lid WOW.
Salted caramel as a transition shade.
Semi sweet and Milk chocolate used to build up a deeper brown in the crease.
Champagne toast in the inner corner!
And finally, Triple Fudge used to intensify the outer V deepening up the look.

OVERALL VERDICT- 9/10, my favourite neutral eye shadow palette! The quality is amazing and so so so worth the price that you pay.

Love,
